it's good versus evil, plain and simple. he wants to hurt the united states. he wants to diminish our image around the world. he used a kid (who now sits in jail) to further his agenda of hating us. if these leaks are detrimental, and so far, there hasn't been much to "take away", it makes the president's job that much harder. when it comes to national security, all politics are put aside, we mean that.
    when confidential material is stolen and released, it undermines the quality of communication between heads of state. there is probably nothing too earth shattering in these leaks, saudis want us to bomb iran, a few dribbles about putin, we'll survive. we need to apprehend julian assange and try him as an enemy of the u.s.

      nancy was the first queen of the american congress and treated herself accordingly. the trappings of the office weren't enough, she had to have more. bigger jets, parties, bigger everything. here is a woman worth fifty million dollars, trying to live the life of a rockstar monarch, while never speaking of or relating to the poor. she keeps the middle class as a pet, of sorts, a hobby that has it's own lifesize 747.
      barrak obama took office on the wings of a 150,000,000 inauguration party, knowing that his goal would be to spend three trillion dollars in his first year. "ive never had a helicopter before." campaign trips, date night, fabulous vacations, parties, paul mccartney, being able to do things just because you are president.
     but luxury is a double edged sword. once you get used to it, it's hard to go back. i predict ms. pelosi will pop for her own transport, rather than suffer the indignity of flying commercial again. she can certainly afford her own jet. living large doesn't set well with the portion of the country that is suffering, especially from the people who tout redistribution of wealth, and the welfare of the "middle class".  what they really mean is "that rather cute little middle class of citizens that so desperately need our help". who better to help the average citizen then people who are worth millions, living the high life, that tell us what "we" need. sarcastically, there is no irony here.
      george washington was a humble man. he was softspoken, never awash in platitudes, or self promotion. he never blamed any one else for anything ever. his inauguration was "short and sweet" and it didn't cost much. washington was self effacing, he never thought he was "bigger" than the office or the country, he never lost touch with america or the american spirit, and he certainly never tried to live like a rockstar. word.

the first question in an international crisis is, "where are the carriers?" the very presence of a carrier group instills calm in a given region. we are the united states, and we will take the fight for freedom to anywhere in the world.

with all of the t.s.a. stuff going on, people are assuming that groping is a good thing for the agents, and are attacking the very people trying to keep them safe. the idea that this is an "obama plan" to use the scanning machines, although it's not clear if they work, as part of the stimulus.. the idea of a union grab of the t.s.a. by the aflcio may be in play.
  why doesn't president obama just tell us if there is extra chatter, extra threat, and ask the public if perhaps we could be a little more tolerant, and be patient with the t.s.a. agent. why doesn't he ever speak directly to all of american people, with respect. i don't know why, but he doesn't.
the left says the right is using the scanners to oppress people. 
the right says the left hand is groping people to oppress them.
 i'm not sure which is true, maybe both. where's the communication ? where is the info ? where's the beef ?


 the president winds up his asian trip, it was his worst and most costly trip since the great depression... 
he'll be forced back into the political arena with all of us mean conservatives. we're just really getting started here. there is so much work to do, most of it to do with money.
it's also about time for secretary napalitno to appear with the president and reassure us how safe and secure our borders are. i never thought i'd say that mexico is doing more to secure the borders than we are by spending 1/2 a billion on druggangfighting (one word), and mexican lives (good guys willing to die to free their country from oppression caused by corruption) 
  but what's going on here? we have already surrendered land to the gangs, are we a weak nation until obama gets the boot ? this is bullshit.
we have always believed in mexico, and we know they are a beautiful people with a wonderful culture. they have tons of resources, we know they can succeed in their quest to be a strong and wonderful country, and great neighbor to america.

   the problem today is that many journalists want to be daniel ellsburg, and "save the world on their own". the only thing is, is that ellsburg or assange weren't elected for anything, they don't represent any organised people, and that makes them enemies of the state, our state.
ellsburg was an american traitor. he got lucky and wasn't executed for stealing classified documents and betraying his oaths and country.
assange , who is also an accused rapist, waits now in a little room, as we continue to repair the damage he has done. he is not a hero, nor is he noble or of good character. he attacked the united states of america, and he will pay the price, and we're glad he's caught, for whatever reason. 
   we are also taking careful note of who is supporting this enemy of america in assange, those who are helping him against us, perhaps trying to make a name for themselves in the wrong way.

 after nearly two years in office, our president showed a first inkling of bi-partisan compromise, sharing the power of the government. his "american people" are not all extreme leftists.
     in his lecture on financial responsibility, he very begrudgingly accepted that he is not in fact our "supreme leader",
     he has come to the understanding that laws in this country aren't by his fiat.
     it was amusing to hear him suggest that the republicans should be serious about fiscal accordance and deficit reality.
     despite his massive ego, and it shows, cause he looked pissed, his vision for a more socialistic america is dead. the  people spoke loudly at the voting booth, and his runaway train of lunacy and spending is at last slowing down.
     we think it's too late for generation debt and inflation, they're still going to happen. but a least we fiscal conservatives have seen a glimmer of hope for the future.
     we'll never get four years of damage back, and our primary goal is to defeat barrack obama. we wish to get behind us as quickly as possible, the magnificent failure of attempted socialism, for a country that decidedly does not want to be part of a world government, and "more" like europe. 
     this is an interesting change to witness, watching the president forced to the center. we know he has been working his legacy "from day one". we haven't forgotton the strong arm style of legislating they started with, we simply don't trust him anymore (transparency).

    we've said it before, we'd rather see mr. obama be a mediocre one term president, than be reelected.

a renewed laser beam focus from the golf course? the race for the whitehouse  has already begun.

people have been asking "what's up with no capital letters ?"
we'll use the written form 
the english in a different way than most people. some of the work on our site will be "normal", the way it's used to being seen.
     we're sure capital letters and punctuation marks are overused (e.g. newspaper headlines), their meaning has become trite.
      it's a newer style. we use capital letters, but only rarely, and under special circumstances. a good example is the lifetime achievement award, because it is our very highest honor. if you see a capital being used, assume it's for something important and unique. if you don't like it, we're sorry, but we'll use the language any way we see fit. you will see new words and phrase here, sometime we'll put two words together to form a new word, a more efficient word (entropy). same is true for the colors... we'll get into later.   
     we hope you will learn to enjoy this new language style, and we'll try to post enough "regular" or "standard" king's english, for the anal retentive neat freaks in the crowd... thank you,

    they don't spend much on their military, yet they are all in financial trouble, the colleges they protest for raising tution, aren't even that good. ireland, greece, soon portugal and spain, all need help.

we don't lie we "maneuver the truth"  you don't have to lie anymore if you are in politics or advertising, because you can say anything now and just say it's true. kids today have a different definition for the word "free". it's a simple word... when i was a kid, "free" meant you didn't have to pay for it, or trade, or do any work.
everyday we see the word everywhere, on the web, advertising.... and politics. the reason politics is so confusing is because half of the stuff you hear is wrong or immorally incorrect, but it doesn't seem to matter because of the sheer volume of information.
     there's so much to absorb, that the truth genuinely drowns. next time you check your email, see how "free" the free laptop computer is. or the free trip that only take twenty minutes worth of "work"., so you might have a chance.
     one of the best definitions for work is "something i have to do when i'd rather be doing something else. we do our work, and then we are "free" to not work.... or tell lies. we'll just maneuver the truth.

San Francisco voters OK ban on people sitting down or lying on sidewalks

SAN FRANCISCO -- San Francisco voters have approved a controversial ordinance that will soon restrict when to sit or lie on city sidewalks.

Voters on Tuesday supported Measure L, known as the "sit/lie" ordinance, that would ban sitting or lying on sidewalks between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m.

The new ordinance requires police to issue a warning before citing or fining anyone, but repeat offenders could face jail time.

Supporters of "sit/lie" say residents are often harassed by people who sit all day on sidewalks. Opponents say the measure unfairly targets the homeless and day laborers.

The initiative took shape after Police Chief George Gascon proposed a citywide "sit-lie" ordinance, giving officers the authority to move and cite those who block sidewalks or otherwise intimidate pedestrians.

"The chief advocated very actively on his own time and the public vote has decided the matter," Lt. Lyn Tomioka, a police spokeswoman, said Wednesday.

After the city's Board of Supervisors voted down Gascon's proposal in June, Mayor Gavin Newsom to take the issue straight to voters.

Newsom became motivated after seeing a guy smoking crack cocaine while taking his infant daughter on a stroll shortly after moving to the iconic Haight-Ashbury neighborhood earlier this year.

That episode came after Haight residents and storekeepers had long complained to city officials about overbearing transients blocking pedestrians and aggressive panhandling.

 

Even two neighborhood group leaders held opposing views.

"This is something that people in San Francisco tried to do for the better part of 25 years," Ted Loewenberg, president of the Haight Ashbury Improvement Association, said Wednesday. "We got it done!"

But Bruce Wolfe, vice president of the Haight Ashbury Neighborhood Council, believes that voters were not properly educated on the ramifications of a sit-lie law.

"I think people really don't understand what this means," Wolfe said Wednesday. "There's plenty of laws already on the books similar to Measure L."

The police department will soon issue guidelines on how officers will enforce the ordinance, Tomioka said.

Voters also rejected a competing ordinance, Measure M, which would have adopted mandatory police foot-patrol programs and invalidated Measure L if both passed.

and no more happy meals either, what a whacked out place, expensive too.

we're  pretty much back or headed back to the cold war.

when you look at putin, what's happened in south korea, and our own presidents inability to deal with foreign policy. there is not much doubt that world relations are getting worse,
 china is playing us for the patsy with economics while continuing to sing us soliloquies about north korea and humans rights.

 we are being the doormat for karzai, and europe hates us more now than they did when bush was president.
 iran will get the atomic bomb and continue to suppress their population. the world is a mess and we're looking the other way.
 there is no way a dictatorship like north korea can condition themselves to, and get so "geared up for war", and then not use it. it is against human nature, and history.

and i have been watching john bolton for a year say that the obama administration is clueless about foreign policy.

guantanamo lives

for all of the squawk of the bad image it sends to the world, it's still the most valuable tool we have for processing the "unlawful combatants" in the war against terror. the folks screaming to preserve the u.s. citizen rights for the enemy, haven't been able to come up with a "something better" so far. i just had some interesting discussion over at u.s. message board. it seems as if there is still a liberal clinging to the notion that the bad guys are still more worth protecting, than those they may try to harm.
      it's odd to me. there was a comparison of the gitmo detainees to the japanese americans interned in ww 2.
 there is talk of how lincoln suspended habus corpus during the civil war. it seems as if the whole story depends on definition. is it even a war? when that first plane hit w.t.c. it became war in my mind, america became the battleground. for those who say there is no battleground, there is.
 the simple fact remains that the president of the united states has to have every tool at his disposal. if what he does is later deemed illegal, than so be it. it can all be sorted out, but the discretion provided for, has to be supported by the urgency of the moment. this whole business of stopping the war on the battlefield, to read an international enemy his rights, american civil rights, has gone way to far. ben franklin may have said "it's a war dammit, we should offend someone".
 guantanamo is a state of the art, less than ideologically perfect way to deal with said offenders. if the right to speedy trial is so precious, then what's the delay. they were going to try them in new york city a year ago. is this more obama pageantry? more time to "think" about it ??
 we want a speedy and just trial (bright lites of hollywood) so "we can close guantanamo within one year of me being president". what happened?
 nothing, nothing at all.

If the ACLU wins the right to represent the elder Mr. al-Awlaki (awlaki's father), it would be the first major legal challenge to President Obama's implicit assertion of a right to kill or capture Americans who have joined al Qaeda, without due process.
this is about to be a collision of ideals within the obama/liberal community.
