WE CELEBRATE AMERICA AND THE ESSENCE OF FREEDOM AND LIBERTY
music declaration of independence:
music is free like the air, once you hear it, that's it. enjoy the music on this page. it's free. download it, record it, pass it around... it really is all about the music, thanks to you all !
scott e. & kevin d. and vermontropy
this is our mysterious island
as it floats along, it's people are smart, but they're all not strong.
when the island, rose from the sea, people would know what it is to be free....

the future of original music:
the vermontropy instrument furnishment program for children of all ages.
killing music and exercise programs in schools is a huge mistake. we need for every kid to have at least the opportunity to try to play an instrument, it's that important...
please make a small donation of an instrument in any condition (send it to 100 clark rd. waterville vermont 05492.) or a few bucks to help run the show... cause we all know that this is one show that must go on !!!

and we'll need more cowbell players...
tribute to harry potter
when god sends a woman
alll original songs are written by scott and kevin and are copyrighted by vermontropy captain nemo
the kids at nectar's ..... while i was building phish's studio at the barracks (for lawnboy) with dan archer and joe capps, i was paying attention to trey and the boys. they had direction and talent, and they were going somewhere, everybody knew it.
even though i became famous for saying (rather stupidly in retrospect) "they will never make it big because of their vocals (pretty rough at the time)"....
i was also the one who suggested to harpo that he offer recording time as a prize for the battle of the bands at the "front".... which he did... which they won, and they recorded lawnboy. i was also the one who hand painted dan's studio in the theme of "fish" (aquarium style)... to inspire the band. i told trey that his music sparkled... it still does today.
rich you
all of these songs were recorded on a small digital eight track years ago. most of them were recorded while writing the song. once we get our studio built, we'll make state of the art recordings of these, and some fifty more songs written since then. as the feeling returns to my hands and fingers, i find myself getting very excited about playing and recording once again. then, once we get a decent record together, we'll be heading back to the stage. this is where the real magic happens for us, and we can't wait.
